Academy
The Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan is an educational and scientific-methodological institution specializing in training highly qualified professionals in the field of justice, providing professional retraining for candidates for judicial positions, and improving the qualifications of judges and court staff.
The Academy’s activities are aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of education in the judicial and legal sphere, introducing a practice-oriented training system, and preparing personnel in line with international standards and modern requirements.
History
The Academy was established on the basis of the Higher School of Judges under the Supreme Judicial Council.
Pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-141 dated 21 August 2025, the Academy has been designated as a key institution for the fundamental improvement of the system for training and professional development of the judiciary.
Activities
The Academy carries out its activities in response to the needs arising from judicial and legal reforms, ongoing legislative updates, and the demand for court system professionals with modern knowledge and practical skills.
The educational process is organized in a practice-oriented format through modern teaching methods, analytical case studies, trainings, and interactive sessions, which contribute to developing learners’ professional capacity, legal culture, and adherence to judicial ethics.
In addition, the Academy conducts research activities in the field of justice, develops educational and methodological materials as well as analytical recommendations, and organizes scientific and practical conferences, seminars, and roundtable discussions, thereby supporting the development of the sector.
